Marlene Bagnull has been running the Philadelphia Christian Writer's Conference for years. Each year she finds that promotion and marketing are always a challenge; how do you most effectively reach the people who could really be blessed by the conference, but have never been there? How do you best communicate what the conference is all about with a limited budget? |
| Since we were already at the conference working with Yolanda Powell, it was easy to capture footage of all the activity that goes on there. In addition, we captured a few random interviews with faculty and attendees. Just by asking "what's been going on at the conference" and "why are you here", we had more than enough material for a short video. |   |

This year, we took last year's footage and made a 4 1/2 minute promo/recap, in order to promote this year. Marlene put the video on CDrom, mass produced them, and mailed them to specific contacts who would be able to tell more people about the conference. |
In addition, we took the video and
put it into streaming format, so now, anybody in the world, with internet access can watch
and listen to the video. Instead of just reading about the conference, people
