THANKS SO MUCH! to all who've been attending and making these a success! We have a great location: the Rose Tree Fire Hall. It's Just 15 minutes from Valley Forge, and 15 minutes from the Philadelphia Airport, one block from a major bypass, complete with its own disco ball, air conditioning, a kitchen, a bar area, plenty of tables and seating, a parking lot at street level, and within walking distance from a Wawa, and a Diner, and a large smooth masonite dance floor!
First Friday parties also boast a one-of-a-kind COACHING CORNER. During the dance, the basic step to whatever dance is currently up in the rotation is being taught in a corner just off of the main dance floor!
The dance lesson starts at 8:00. On October 2nd, Joe will be teaching Foxtrot. Want a dance that you can do to almost any Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, or Bobby Darin song at your next wedding? Want a nice variation to break up the monotony at your next Swing dance? Learn how to make this dance really really smooth and lead it with confidence as Joe teaches the basics of this truly American dance.
Joe takes special attention to provide a great mix of music featuring both classic hits and new songs from his library of diverse artists which he updates regularly. Waltzes, Foxtrots, Tangos (Ballroom and Argentine), Swings (West Coast, Lindy and Jitterbug), Cha Chas, Rumbas, Mambos, Salsas, Merengues, Hustles, and Sambas. Joe provides a safe environment where smooth dancers can move around the outside, while rhythm dancers can stay in the center.
