GuitarFlair icon  About the Teacher:

I began playing drums when I was about 12 years old.  I didn't even have a thought of picking up the guitar until I graduated high school, but in my first few years of college, I found myself being drawn to it. My foundation in the rythym of percussion has definetely influenced my guitar playing ability and is what gives my playing its own unique approach.   I've been playing for about 12 years now, and I learn something new every day.    In this video, I have combined three of my biggest passions;   guitar, video production, and teaching others.

It focuses less on the actual musical theory and more on the actual physical attributes and behaviors of the guitar and the guitar player.

    Hammer-ons, Pulloffs, and slides.

  • Utilizing these techniques to develop dynamic
    leads and solos.

  • Understanding right hand strumming motions and
techniques including upstrums, downstrums and muting.

  • Proper wrist and elbow motion to increase endurance
    and avoid muscle fatique

  • Utilizing different pick styles motions to help you
develop your precision as well as enhance your sound.
